We are committed to ensuring that sentient beings are no longer treated as products. Through education and targeted initiatives, we stand against factory farming and the exploitation of animals.

Sentient beings are not products.

Octopuses are among the most intelligent animals on Earth. They solve problems, display individual behaviors, and experience pain and stress. Yet they face the growing threat of industrial farming.

Octopus farms would extend intensive animal farming to animals that are predominantly solitary and can be negatively affected by confinement and high stocking densities. Their suffering would be inherent to the system.

At the same time, the commercialization of octopuses as food is growing – including in Germany. As demand increases, so does the pressure to establish this form of exploitation.

We are committed to making sure it never comes to that.

For the protection of sentient beings.
